Job Description – Credit Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with a strong background in U.S. Residential Private Lending. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing loan files, analyzing risk, validating documentation, and ensuring files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company guidelines. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams to move loans efficiently through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end Processing / Initial Underwriting of residential private lending loans to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion.
  • Review and analyze key documents including property appraisals, insurance policies, credit reports, title documents, and other supporting documentation.
  • Evaluate loans across multiple asset classes, including:
  • Ground-Up Construction (New Construction)
  • Fix & Flip
  • Bridge Loans
  • DSCR Rental Loans
  • Identify credit, collateral, and capacity risks based on borrower profile and loan structure.
  • Coordinate and communicate with multiple departments to obtain required information, clear outstanding conditions, and ensure files meet internal policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with lending standards and company procedures.
  • Prepare detailed summaries and findings for Underwriters and Management.
  • Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to manage loan data, track progress, and prepare reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Underwriting or Processing within the U.S. Mortgage Residential Private Lending industry.
  • Hands-on experience with loan products such as Ground-Up Construction, Fix & Flip, Bridge, and DSCR Rental loans.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of reviewing and validating appraisals, title documents, insurance policies, credit reports and other supporting documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to analyze borrower and property-level data accurately.

Core Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential risks.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. mortgage lending guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.

LOCATION: Work From Home

TIMINGS: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST

SALARY RANGE: Best in Industry
