We have an urgent requirement for Embedded Sofware Eng (Fire Detection Systems – Windows, C++, Delphi) Position with one of the leaders in Engineering and Sciences Services (Aerospace & Defense, Consumer & Industrial products, Life Sciences, Transportation, utilities and construction)

We're looking for a Software Sustaining Engineers to join our R&D team in Pune.

You'll be working on embedded software for fire detection systems—products installed in buildings across the globe.

How you will do it:

  • Collaborate with global teams, customers, and technical support
  • Develop, test and improve embedded software for our devices
  • Work with modern tools and continuously grow your skills
  • Drive issue resolution, documentation and continuous improvement

What we look for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software, or Electrical Engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Strong debugging, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Windows (Delphi) application development with C++
  • Networking experience
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of multithread, multi-process, and real-time application development
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Make, Python)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Background in embedded systems
