Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven
QA/QC Engineer
with extensive experience in
Piping, Structural Fabrication, Welding, and NDT
for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, and Industrial EPC projects. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to quality standards, codes, and client specifications across all stages of project execution, from vendor inspection to site implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the project
    Quality Management System (QMS)
    in accordance with client, company, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
  • Conduct
    inspection and testing
    for piping and structural fabrication, erection, welding, painting, and NDT activities.
  • Review and approve
    WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT)
    as per applicable codes.
  • Monitor
    welding and NDT processes
    , ensuring compliance with approved procedures and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate
    vendor inspections
    ,
    expediting
    , and review of vendor quality documents.
  • Conduct
    material inspection
    , traceability verification, and ensure proper documentation (MTCs, calibration, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain all
    quality documentation
    , including ITPs, checklists, inspection reports, and NCRs.
  • Interface with
    clients, third-party inspectors, and EPC contractors
    to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Participate in
    quality audits, site surveillance, and root cause analysis
    for non-conformances.
  • Support project completion activities such as
    final dossier compilation
    and
    as-built documentation
    .

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma
    in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 10–12 years of experience
    in QA/QC within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of
    ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, and ISO standards
    .
  • Certification in
    CSWIP / AWS-CWI / NDT Level II (UT, RT, PT, MT)
    preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting
    engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics
    .
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience with major
    Tier-1 EPC contractors
    or
    Oil & Gas clients
    preferred.
