About the Role

We are looking for a passionate QA/Tester Trainee who is eager to learn and grow in the field of software testing. As a QA trainee, you will be responsible for testing our ERP and e-commerce applications built on ASP.NET and JavaScript frameworks, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a keen eye for detail and an interest in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Assist in writing and executing test cases based on business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and UI testing for ERP and e-commerce applications.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure bug fixes and improvements.
  • Learn and apply basic automation testing concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Report test results and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in software testing methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of manual testing processes.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test cases.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
  • Knowledge of API testing using Postman or other tools.
  • Experience or coursework in testing ERP or e-commerce applications.

Educational Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Candidates with diplomas or certifications in software testing are also encouraged to apply.
