About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Developer to join our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SSAS cubes and tabular models that support enterprise reporting, data analysis, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

SSAS Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SSAS multidimensional cubes and tabular models.
  • Define and implement measures, KPIs, calculations, and hierarchies using MDX and DAX.
  • Optimize model performance, including partitioning, aggregations, and query tuning.

Data Modeling & Integration:

  • Develop and maintain robust data models that align with business reporting needs.
  • Work with ETL developers to ensure timely and accurate data feed into SSAS models.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure model integrity and accuracy.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with BI/reporting teams (Power BI, SSRS) to enable self-service analytics.
  • Translate business requirements into functional SSAS design specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Power BI data modeling and Power Query (M language).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Certification in Microsoft BI stack (e.g., MCSA: BI Reporting, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) is a plus.
