What you'll achieve

As a Senior AI Engineer you will be leading the technical modernization from PowerBuilder and focus on transforming legacy applications into modern, scalable, and intelligent systems. By leveraging AI-driven tools, cloud technologies, and modern programming frameworks, You aim to enhance performance, maintainability, and user experience. This modernization will not only reduce technical debt but also enable advanced analytics, automation, and integration with modern ecosystems — ensuring the organization remains competitive and future-ready and you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

• Will lead the technical modernization from PowerBuilder to a modern full-stack architecture. Leveraging AI tools, Java–Spring Boot APIs, and advanced Angular front-end development.

• Will deliver scalable, efficient, and intelligent solutions. My strong database and performance optimization skills will ensure high system reliability, while my problem-solving and analytical abilities will drive innovation and align technical outcomes with business goals.

Essential Requirements

• 6 – 10 Yrs of solid IT experience in Prompt Engineering, AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, Cody, AWS Q), and agentic capabilities. skilled in modernization from PowerBuilder (v9+) with strong understanding of DataWindows, User Objects, and transaction management.

• Proficient in Angular (latest, advanced level), SCSS, Java, Spring Boot REST APIs, JPA Query Builder, and Jasper Reports for building scalable, maintainable applications.

• Strong RDBMS experience with ability to write and optimize stored procedures and T-SQL queries. Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills across complex systems.

• Excellent English communication, problem-solving, and SDLC understanding and able to evaluate technical solutions, ensure business alignment, and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Desirable Requirements

• Design and development of large-scale or mission-critical applications, preferably within the healthcare domain.

• Deep enthusiasm for programming beyond work responsibilities and proven experience in effectively collaborating with internal teams and external (onsite) clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
