Requirements

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced DMRD Radiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should hold a DMRD qualification and have proven expertise in performing, interpreting, and reporting a wide spectrum of radiological investigations. This role involves providing accurate and timely diagnostic support to physicians, surgeons, and specialists to ensure effective patient care. The DMRD Radiologist will be responsible for using advanced imaging technologies to detect, monitor, and evaluate medical conditions, thereby playing a vital role in clinical decision-making and patient management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Radiological Diagnostics:
    • Perform and interpret imaging studies including X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI (depending on institutional facilities).
    • Provide detailed diagnostic reports and ensure accuracy in findings to support clinical teams.
    • Screen for abnormalities and ensure timely communication of urgent results to treating physicians.
  • Patient Care & Safety:
    • Guide patients through radiological procedures with clarity and care.
    • Ensure patient safety during diagnostic tests by following radiation protection protocols.
    • Explain procedures, address patient concerns, and maintain compassionate communication.
  • Clinical Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other specialists to provide diagnostic insights for treatment planning.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and clinical meetings to support holistic patient care.
  • Advanced Imaging Practices:
    • Stay updated with the latest radiology advancements, imaging techniques, and diagnostic methodologies.
    • Utilize digital imaging and PACS systems for seamless reporting and data management.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Maintain comprehensive medical records, diagnostic images, and reports in accordance with institutional and legal standards.
    • Adhere to all compliance, ethical, and regulatory guidelines related to radiology practices.
    • Support internal and external audit requirements with proper documentation.
  • Teaching & Mentoring (if applicable):
    • Guide junior doctors, technicians, and radiology staff.
    • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • MBBS degree with DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiodiagnosis) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a practicing Radiologist.
  • Strong knowledge in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities.
  • Expertise in handling diagnostic radiology tools and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain findings to clinicians and patients.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in working with PACS, digital reporting tools, and medical imaging software.
