Incharge - Stitching

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Line Incharge Stitching to oversee daily stitching line operations for footwear production. The role involves supervising manpower, ensuring quality standards, achieving production targets, and driving process improvements in upper production (sports, casual, or leather footwear).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage stitching line operations to meet daily production targets.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and machines.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement in-line quality checks.
• Coordinate with production planning and quality teams for smooth workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce rework/rejection, and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Train and guide operators to improve stitching techniques and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and workplace discipline standards.
• Maintain daily production reports and share updates with the production manager.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of stitching processes in footwear upper production.
• Ability to lead and motivate stitching operators and helpers.
• Hands-on experience in handling stitching machines (auto/manual).
• Good understanding of productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on reducing defects and delays.
• Proficiency in record-keeping, reporting, and shop floor discipline.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Graduate in any discipline (preferably related to footwear/production).
• 5–8 years of experience in stitching line supervision within the footwear industry.
