GCP Data Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, cloud technologies, and data engineering practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical experience to design, implement, and maintain data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP tools and services.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions using GCP Storage and BigQuery.
- Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) using tools like Qlik and Nifi.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts.
- Proficiency in GCP BigQuery and GCP Storage.
- Familiarity with CDC Extractor tools such as Qlik and NiFi.
- Experience with Teradata (Bteqs), Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica.Basic shell scripting skills.
- Experience with scheduling tools like Maestro.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps or GitHub, with knowledge of Jenkins jobs.
