Position: Statistical Assistant

Department: Quality Department

Location: Almas Hospital, Kottakkal

Job Summary:

The Statistical Assistant will support the Quality Department by collecting, compiling, analyzing, and presenting hospital performance data. The role involves assisting in quality audits, maintaining databases, and generating statistical reports to support decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify, and compile data from various departments for quality indicators and KPIs.
  • Prepare statistical reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Support internal audits and quality improvement projects by providing relevant data and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality and performance metrics.
  • Assist in data validation and ensure accuracy of hospital statistics submitted to external bodies.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Quality Department.
  • Support NABH and other accreditation-related documentation with data evidence.
  • Coordinate with departmental quality coordinators to gather necessary information and ensure timely submission.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare quality department preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, data management, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Good communication and report preparation skills.
