Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced .NET professional to provide support and maintenance for a desktop-based application built on the older .NET Framework. The role requires strong expertise in supporting and debugging Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications, along with experience in working with RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for an existing desktop-based WPF application built on .NET Framework (not .NET Core).
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve application issues reported by users and stakeholders.
  • Debug, maintain, and optimize the WPF front-end components.
  • Support and enhance integrations with multiple REST APIs used to interact with the associated SaaS platform.
  • Analyze logs, investigate errors, and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (QA, infrastructure, SaaS platform teams) to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Document issue resolutions, application processes, and provide knowledge transfer when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in .NET Framework (desktop applications) development and support.
  • Proficiency in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for front-end support and debugging.
  • Solid understanding of C# and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in REST API integration with .NET applications.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools, performance profiling, and log analysis.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with legacy application migration or modernization.
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms and cloud-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.
