We're Hiring -
3D Garment Designer

Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify
3D garment patterns and technical models
using software,
Browzwear
.

Collaborate with
pattern makers, fit technicians, and product developers
to translate
2D designs and specifications
into precise
3D models
for prototyping and virtual sampling.

Analyse
garment fitting, fabric behaviour, draping, and construction details
in the 3D environment, proposing
pattern changes
as needed.

Troubleshoot
digital fitting issues
, such as
drag lines, stretch points, or seam alignment
, recommending
technical solutions
for improved fit and mobility.

Prepare and present
3D assets
for design reviews, client presentations, and
production planning
.

Maintain organized
digital libraries
of 3D assets, style templates, and
measurement data
for use in product development.

Optimize
3D model data
for real-time applications or manufacturing, including
mesh clean-up
and
file conversion
.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in
3D garment design software (Browzwear)
and
3D modelling tools
such as
Blender, Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino
.

Strong understanding of
garment construction, pattern making, fitting principles
, and
fabric properties
for apparel designers.

Ability to read and interpret
technical sketches, CAD drawings, and measurement charts
.

Experience working in a
collaborative, cross-functional product development environment
.

Knowledge of
digital asset management
and
file formats
for export, print, or manufacturing workflows.

Good
communication skills
for reporting technical issues, presenting findings, and collaborating with

Design & PD teams
.

A
degree or diploma
in
apparel design, fashion technology, industrial design, or related field experience
is preferred.

Additional Skills

Understanding of
avatar manipulation
and
garment simulation
for virtual prototypes.

Experience in applying
manufacturing constraints, BOM planning, and production cycle data
in digital design.

Familiarity with
digital rendering pipelines
for visualization, animation, or
eCommerce purposes
.
