Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Channel Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our retail and channel partner network in the building materials sector (Paints, Plywood, or allied products). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel sales, distributor/dealer management, and retail activation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Sales Management:

Develop, manage, and grow relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and stockists in the assigned territory.

Retail Development:

Drive secondary sales through effective retail engagement, merchandising, and promotional activities.

Sales Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strong channel and retail execution.

Distribution Expansion:

Identify and onboard new channel partners, expand dealer/distributor network in untapped markets.

Market Intelligence:

Gather insights on market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and new product opportunities.

Team Coordination (if applicable):

Lead and guide junior sales staff, sales officers, or field representatives.

Reporting & MIS:

Maintain accurate sales records, submit regular reports on performance, forecasts, and market feedback.

Key Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

5+ years of proven experience in channel or retail sales in the Paints, Plywood, Building Materials, or FMCG industry

Strong distributor/dealer network management skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with sales reporting tools

Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territoryRole & responsibilities
