Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Controls Design Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality electrical control panels and automation solutions. The role involves creating electrical schematics, PLC programming, component selection, system integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical schematics and control systems using EPLAN or AutoCAD.
  • Engineer and develop electrical control panels, ensuring adherence to applicable standards.
  • Program and configure PLCs (Allen Bradley) for industrial automation applications.
  • Select appropriate electrical components, safety, and protection devices based on design calculations.
  • Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) for electrical control panels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for system integration, quality checks, and timely delivery of panels.
  • Perform system integration testing of industrial automation components and systems at supplier locations.
  • Ensure timely validation of systems to meet project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience in preparing schematics using EPLAN and/or AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of switchgear component selection and BOM preparation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Knowledge of integration testing for industrial automation systems.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in industrial automation projects from design to commissioning.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical design standards and safety compliance requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems effectively.
