In Vestas SSCBP we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient set up. It is an ever-developing task in a complex environment. The order handling function is responsible for order management to support internal customers, resolving customer issues and acting as the first point of contact to the SBU for the supply chain management. The Supply Chain Professional must ensure Service Supply Chain is meeting delivery targets and provides analysis and customer feedback to procurement, forecasting and warehousing to ensure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Be a key player in our team, supporting day-to-day operations.
• Maintain accurate data in SAP, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Track order progress and follow up with stakeholders on outstanding actions.
• Dive into logistics by monitoring shipments and gaining insights from various sources.
• Proactively liaise with warehouses to address any delivery issues.
• Manage incoming queries and keep everyone informed on process updates.
• Adapt and support the team during high-volume periods and process changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (non-IT) or an MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Strong academic record with a minimum of 80 PERCENT in previous studies.
• A passion for logistics (supply chain certification a plus).
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to confidently express ideas.
• Strong team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Innovative thinker who identifies improvement opportunities.
• Flexibility to work shifts when necessary.
