Role & responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Java applications hosted on Tomcat, JBoss, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using JVM diagnostics, log analysis, and AWR reports.
  • Debug and manage REST APIs, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Monitor systems using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Azure Log Analytics, and Prometheus.
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management following ITIL v4 best practices.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for release planning, deployment support, and CAB coordination.
  • Support authentication protocols including SSO, SAML, LDAP, and SSL configurations.
  • Author and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
  • Drive process automation and improve support KPIs (CSAT, TTA, TTR).

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong experience in Java Application Support, SQL, Shell Scripting, and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana.
  • Hands-on with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
  • Experience with ITSM tools: ServiceNow, JIRA, Salesforce Lightning, Freshdesk.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ticket workflows.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
