Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Infotainment Test Engineer, located in Bengaluru. The Infotainment Test Engineer will be responsible for executing functional testing, designing and developing test cases, and overall test execution. Daily tasks will include ensuring the reliability and performance of infotainment systems, collaborating with other engineers, and maintaining thorough documentation of test results.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Test Engineering, Testing, and Test Execution
  • Experience in designing and developing Test Cases
  • Proficient in Functional Testing techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the incubation of next-generation connected vehicle features and infotainment solutions.
  • Monitor and interpret upcoming automotive industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving customer expectations to inform product strategy.
  • Contribute to defining new requirements in the automotive connectivity domain, with a focus on enhancing user experience and digital services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in in-vehicle connectivity technologies, such as: Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities
  • Connected apps and user subscription flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, UI/UX to ensure seamless feature implementation and system integration.
  • Support the roll-out of new app updates, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Provide technical insights and contribute to the strategic roadmap for connected vehicle services.
  • (Optional) Work on advanced in-car technologies, including: Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalization
