Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to streamline and automate our development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized applications, and ensuring reliable deployments in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery
  • Manage and maintain Databases, optimize to full potential and ensure upkeep of all databases.
  • Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Monitor and maintain on premise infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize development workflows
  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant
  • Implement infrastructure as code
  • Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong working knowledge of database administration, configuration and regular maintenance of Databases like MySQL, Postgres and MongoDB.
  • Solid understanding of Linux system administration
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with on-premises deployments

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of Helm, Istio, or other Kubernetes tools
  • Security best practices in DevOps workflows

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
