About the Role

Xperteez Technology is looking for a
highly skilled Senior M365 Specialist
with strong experience in
Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
. This role is ideal for professionals who have executed
large-scale enterprise M365 migrations
across
Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams
, ensuring
security, compliance, and minimal business disruption
.

You will work closely with
architects, security & compliance teams, application owners, and enterprise stakeholders
to deliver
secure, scalable, and audit-ready migration outcomes
.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery, Readiness & Planning

  • Perform
    end-to-end discovery and inventory
    of mailboxes, archives, shared mailboxes, M365 groups, OneDrive accounts, SharePoint sites, Teams, and related services
  • Support
    migration design and planning
    : coexistence strategy, pilot execution, wave planning, rollback, and success metrics
  • Handle
    identity & domain readiness
    : UPN/SMTP alignment, vanity domain transfer, directory object mapping, group and permission modeling
  • Define and execute
    validation and test plans
    for mailbox health, site integrity, Teams functionality, permissions, and policies

Tenant-to-Tenant Migration Execution

  • Exchange Online:
    Execute mailbox and archive migrations, shared/resource mailboxes, delegates, calendars, and permissions
  • Manage
    mail flow, connectors, accepted domains, and DNS changes
    (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • OneDrive & SharePoint Online:
    Migrate content, metadata, permissions, sharing links, and governance settings
  • Microsoft Teams & M365 Groups:
    Migrate teams, channels, tabs, files, memberships, apps, bots, and connectors
  • Identify and resolve
    cross-workload dependencies
    (Power Platform, Planner, Stream, eDiscovery, integrations)

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Align migrations with
    Conditional Access, MFA, and least-privilege access
  • Re-establish
    DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and eDiscovery/legal holds
  • Maintain
    audit-ready documentation
    , logs, validation results, and sign-offs

Cutover, Stabilization & Hypercare

  • Execute pilots and large-scale migration waves using
    runbooks and command-center processes
  • Manage coexistence, domain cutovers, and post-migration validation
  • Drive
    hypercare, defect triage, remediation, and transition to steady-state operations

Automation, Reporting & Communication

  • Build automation using
    PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
  • Standardize scripts, templates, and validation routines
  • Produce
    dashboards and migration reports
    ; communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate closely with
    architects, identity engineers, security teams, and stakeholders

Mandatory Skills
