Design cum Production Engineer

Design & Production

  • Develop designs and technical drawings for manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accuracy in costing and procurement planning.
  • Coordinate with the production team to manufacture equipment as per design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve on-floor issues during production.
  • Ensure quality standards and timelines are maintained.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Assist in presenting technical details to clients and handling product demonstrations.
  • Support sales team in converting leads into orders.
  • Build relationships with customers and provide post-sales technical support when needed.

Factory Operations & Administration

  • Manage daily operational activities at the factory.
  • Maintain production records, stock registers, and documentation.
  • Monitor material usage and maintain proper records for audit/compliance.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between design, production, and dispatch.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or related field).

Experience: 4-5years in design and production (experience in equipment manufacturing preferred).

  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and BOM preparation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a start-up environment.

Experience - Minimum 4-5 years or more
