Electrical- Senior Engineer

Kent is looking for an experienced Electrical, Senior Engineer to be based in Mumbai/ Vadodara office, with a demonstrated history of working in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical industry. Skilled in Electrical Engineering and should have experience in Conceptual Design, FEED, Basic & Detailed Engineering including EPC and EPCM Projects.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Prepare design basis for the project as per the client design criteria.
• Preparation and Review of all discipline engineering and design deliverables such as slds, specifications, datasheets, BOM, Panel and Cable schedule, interconnection wiring drawings etc
• Preparation of Area classification drawings.
• Preparation and review of calculations for all Electrical Equipment like Power transformers, DGs, Battery Sizing, Capacitor sizing, Grounding and Lightening protection, Cable sizing etc.
• Decide the substation layouts optimizing the size and design of the same along with the design team.
• Provide guidance for preparation of all layout drawings ,3D models and mto generation.
• Preparation of power control and distribution philosophy for electrical system.
• Review installation drawings
• Preparation of Requisitions for quotation and for purchase.
• Review vendor documents and quotations for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in project design reviews
• Prepare bid evaluations.
• Perform inter-discipline squad check.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

• 8-14 years of basic and detailed engineering experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry.
• Candidates having experience in Engineering office of Reputed Consulting Engineering Companies preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas will be preferred.
• International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices that apply to Electrical.
• Quality management system and procedures
• Project management and control procedures
• Electrical workflow and interdisciplinary co-ordination
• Project Electrical Deliverables
• Project Risk Assessment
• Adherence to HSE norms
• Proficiency in understanding Electrical Operating philosophy
• Proficiency in Power system studies and analysis.
