² Responsibility to provide information on new medications to subordinates, interns, nurses or physician

² Ensure 24/7 coverage of pharmacy department.

² To maintain the Schedule "H" Records and H1 Drugs

² To ensure pharmacist Registration from the State Pharmacy Council.

² To make Duty roaster.

² Follow up with non-movement, expiry medicine and brings to the knowledge of Pharmacy Stores In charge.

² Send all non-movement medicine and expiry medicine to pharmacy stores.

² Following LASA medicine and High risk medicine shortage

² To monitor the activities of the central pharmacy stores in order to have minimum stock out situations of materials handled by pharmacy

² Responsible for minimum stock variance between physical and system count at any point of time

² Ensure the proper storage of medicines surgical, disposables and consignment items and tidiness of storage area.

² To check the online indents from user units and organize immediate availability and dispatching to the user units as per SOP after apparatuses documentation.

² To receive the supply physically inside the storage area by verifying the GRN at the receiving bay and arranging the same in a systematic manner.

² To ensure that the non-moving items, short expiry and expired items received back at store to be segregated and send back to the supplier in consultations with purchase department every month. Necessary documentation is essential before dispatch of materials from hospital premises.

² To ensure that all the drugs, surgical and consignment items are properly arranged in racks and good housekeeping is maintained.

² To ensure that all the document related to store like purchase requisitions, GRN, good return note and invoice copies etc are kept in order with the appropriate approval for audit or review by the management. Follow SOP strictly in this manner.

² To supervise and guide the sub ordinates to have maximum efficiency in operations and policies of management implemented.
