Education:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, or related fields.
  • BMLT / DMLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) can also be considered in some cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process gametes (oocytes and sperm) and embryos in the IVF lab.
  • Perform semen analysis, sperm preparation, oocyte handling, embryo culture, and cryopreservation.
  • Maintain aseptic conditions and follow SOPs in all laboratory procedures.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient and laboratory data.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Assist embryologists and clinicians in IVF, IUI, and ICSI procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in lab efficiency and success rates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a recognized IVF center.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IVF procedures and lab protocols.
