Senior Design Engineer (Electrical) - Job Description

Department: Design

Designation: Senior Design Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Bengaluru

Reporting To: Tech Head

Experience: 5 – 6 Years

Qualification: Diploma/B.E/BTech/MTech– EEE / EC

Salary Range: L.P.A ( Quarries will be Discussed on Interview)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and development of Electrical Panels (MCC, PCC, VFD, PLC, APFCR, DG Synchronization, Starter Panels).
  • Expertise in ABB / Schneider Switchgear, Panel OGA/IGA, Control & Power Circuits.
  • Ability to read SLD (Single Line Diagrams) and finalize electrical components.
  • Prepare cost estimation, BOQ, and execute panel design with efficiency.
  • Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and design files.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within time and budget.
  • Provide technical documentation, reports, and support to production teams.
  • Incorporate latest technologies and ensure designs are updated.
  • Design internal wiring systems for residential and commercial buildings.

  • Design panels within minimum time and cost while maintaining high quality.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong knowledge of CAD.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Updated knowledge of electrical standards and technologies.
