Profile: Marketing Manager

Department: Sales and Marketing

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for client acquisition and retention.
  • Playing an integral role in new business pitches and holding responsibility for effective lead generation.
  • Ensuring the development and achievement of sales targets as per company business plan.
  • Being an interface between customers and all relevant departments such as production, planning, and quality, responsible for resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Driving targets and collection by improving communication through emails, meetings, calls
  • Establishing relationships with clients and providing a high standard of customer service continually.
  • Manage and control customers' credit through effective follow-ups, meetings, and customer visits.
  • Constantly supporting and handholding customers for all enquiries, payments, complaints, rejections, technical queries etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with B2B marketing.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with global steel markets and export/import regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the steel or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the steel industry and its market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
