Role & responsibilities

  • Compose and format manuscripts using LaTeX for journals, books, and technical reports
  • Implement and customize LaTeX templates as per publisher guidelines
  • Insert and manage complex elements such as mathematical equations, tables, and figures
  • Prepare final print-ready PDFs and resolve LaTeX compilation errors
  • Manage bibliographies, citations, and cross-references using BibTeX or related tools
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure quality and deadlines
  • Maintain document consistency, style, and compliance with publication standards

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in LaTeX composition and formatting
  • Experience with template customization and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of bibliography management (BibTeX/BibLaTeX)
  • Ability to handle technical content, including math and graphics
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience with Overleaf or other online LaTeX platforms
  • Familiarity with publishing workflows and standards
