Job Description

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Promote DevOps best practices and advocate for a culture of automation and efficiency.

Devops/Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  • Must be customer focused, goal oriented, and have a passion for success.
  • Design and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure ADO, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Streamline software delivery processes to enable rapid and reliable releases.

Technical skills

  • 8–12+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven expertise in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., ADO, Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Migrating on-prem applications to cloud is a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation or Azure ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Git workflows.
  • Knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and networking concepts.
  • Experience in connectivity between on On-prem and cloud environments isa plus.
