Job Description – Optometrist

Location: Tirunelveli

Experience: 1–5 Years

Salary: Based On Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct eye examinations and assess vision accuracy.
  • Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
  • Diagnose common eye issues and refer serious cases to Ophthalmologists.
  • Perform contact lens fitting, trials, and patient counseling.
  • Guide customers on frame selection, lens types, and eye care.
  • Maintain patient records, prescriptions, and equipment hygiene.
  • Support optical retail operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Optometry (B.Optom / D.Opt).
  • Knowledge of eye-testing tools and optical products.
  • Good communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Experience in optical shop/eye clinic preferred.
