Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Jira Expert to join our team and work on a critical assignment with our client, Vodafone. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Jira, with proven hands-on experience in customizing workflows, developing Jira plugins, and managing Jira environments including upgrades and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:


• Independently manage Jira setup and support for the client.


• Design, configure, and customize Jira workflows, screens, permissions, and schemes.


• Develop and maintain Jira plugins using tools like ScriptRunner, Tempo, MISC, JSU, Assets, etc.


• Administer Jira Data Center including upgrades, wiki integration, and disaster recovery planning.


• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Jira-based solutions.


• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability through best practices and automation.


• Act as a Jira SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all internal and external teams.

Required Skills:


• Strong expertise in Jira Administration and Development.


• Hands-on experience with custom Jira workflow development.


• Proficiency with Jira plugins/tools: ScriptRunner, Tempo, MISC, JSU, Assets, etc.


• Experience with Jira Data Center environment and Confluence/Jira Wiki upgrades.


• Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and implementations.


• Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.


• Ability to work independently in a client-facing role.
