Job Responsibilities :

  • To prepare Material Requisitions (MRs) for Quotation and for Purchase;
  • To review the technical offers from bidders, and to prepare technical queries;
  • To prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) reports;
  • To review vendors# calculations and drawings (VDR);
  • To interact with other departments and project/client, for Inter-Departmental Checking comments, on MDS and TechSpecs, TBEs, and Vendor documents;
  • To prepare Material Requisition (MRQ and MRP), Technical bid evaluation of HVAC
  • Equipment
  • To prepare Material Requisitions for Quotation, and for Purchase (MRQ, and MRP);
  • To review bidders# offers, to identify lacunae, and to prepare Technical Queries (TQs) as part of carrying out Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE);
  • To witness performance tests of the equipment, at vendors# works, before final clearance;
  • To comply with QMS procedures and to maintain appropriate records;

Education Requirement :

  • Degree in Mechanical engineering from reputed college or university;

Experience Requirement :

  • Minimum experience of 1 year in equipment manufacturing companies or Engineering Consulting companies or Chemical plants;
  • Shall be focussed on learning;
  • Shall be a good team player.

Skills & Competencies :

  • Knowledge of engineering standard specifications, and standard designs;
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint;
  • Should possess good written and verbal communication skills.
