This Position reports to:

Finance Delivery Manager - Transactional

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reviewCorporate Income Tax (CIT) returns, Tax Accounting, and Withholding Tax computations in accordance with local tax laws and ABB guidelines for overseas countries. Ensure timely and accuratesubmission of tax filings, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Support tax provision and deferred tax reporting for month-end and year-end closings under IFRS/local GAAP. Partner withGroup and Local Tax Managers to manage audits, resolve queries, and provide documentation support.
  • Maintain and update tax compliance trackers, SOPs, and control documentation in line with ABB's compliance framework. Contribute to process improvement, automation, and standardization projects, including the rollout of global tax tools (e.g., Auto JV Utility, OneSource, Alteryx, Power BI)
  •  Supporttax transition and migration activities from country oA ces o the Bangalore hub. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of tax operations. Identify and escalate potential tax risks or exposures and recommend mitigations. Train and mentor junior tax professionals within the team.

Qualification for the role:

Shift timing: Flexible for all shifts

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/CMA or equivalent with 3-6 years of post qualification experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting. Experience inshared service centers or multinational organizations preferred.
  • Work from office - 5 days weekly.
  • Strong knowledge of direct taxation, accounting principles, and tax reporting systems. Exposure to SAP, Power BI, and other automation tools will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with large data sets. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative global team environment.
