Job Title: Power BI Reporting Analyst

Required Experience: 3-4 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into insightful, data-driven visualizations that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Connect, import, and transform data from various sources (PostgreSQL

,

Excel, SQL, APIs, cloud services).
- Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize Power BI datasets and reports for performance and usability.
- Implement row-level security and user-level permissions in the Power BI service.
- Automate data refresh schedules and manage Power BI workspace and sharing permissions.
- Assist with data modeling, DAX calculations, and creating complex measures and KPIs.
- Troubleshoot data issues and perform quality assurance on reports and dashboards.
- Provide end-user support and training on Power BI usage and best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

Required Skills:

  • 3–4 years of experience working with Power BI in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Power BI service (publishing, scheduling, sharing) and gateway configuration.
