Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for academic resources, marketing campaigns, events, and social media.
• Incorporate visual effects, transitions, text overlays, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure consistent style, tone, and quality across all video projects in line with the universitys branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize and storyboard video content for promotional materials, events, and educational initiatives.
• Perform color correction, sound editing, and mastering to maintain professional-grade video outputs.
• Operate and maintain video editing software or similar tools.
• Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Academic departments to align video content with institutional goals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Communication, Film Production, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in video editing, preferably in an educational.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of video editing software and tools.
