Role & responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks.
  • Analyze performance test results, monitor system behavior, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborate in defining performance SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs.
  • Provide tuning recommendations for applications, databases, and servers.
  • Manage performance testing across web, API, and enterprise applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting best practices and automation in performance testing.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) and JMeter.
  • Proficiency in scripting protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, REST, SOAP, and JDBC.
  • Expertise in analyzing results using LoadRunner Analysis, JMeter Dashboard, and APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana).
  • Good understanding of system architecture application servers, databases, networks.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing types – load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability.
  • Ability to work with SQL for validating data and performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) for integrating performance tests.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
