Stylist

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and fashion-forward Stylist to join our team at our flagship store in Pune. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with around 1 year of experience in fashion styling, merchandising, or retail fashion.

As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client styling experiences, assisting with visual merchandising, and ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling confident, inspired, and connected to the brand's aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Styling & Assistance

• Greet and assist clients warmly, offering personalised styling advice based on their preferences and occasion.
• Create complete looks that reflect the brand's design language and current trends.
• Provide fitting and alteration support by coordinating with the in-house tailor or alterations desk.
• Build rapport with clients, ensuring they receive a thoughtful and seamless shopping experience.
• Support senior stylists or store managers during client appointments or fittings.

2. Fashion Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Maintain and refresh product displays, ensuring racks and mannequins are styled to perfection.
• Support the team in implementing seasonal and campaign-based visual merchandising updates.
• Ensure all collections are well-presented, accessible, and aligned with brand aesthetics.
• Monitor fast- and slow-moving inventory on the floor and communicate feedback to the store manager.
• Maintain an organised and visually appealing layout across all store sections.

3. Product Knowledge & Styling Support

• Develop a thorough understanding of all product categories: fabrics, silhouettes, embroidery, and fit.
• Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends, colours, and styling techniques.
• Suggest mix-and-match styling ideas to clients and team members.
• Assist in preparing look books, visual references, and social media styling shoots when required.
• Support in maintaining the styling wardrobe and coordinating outfits for photoshoots or in-store events.

4. Customer Service & Store Operations

• Provide after-sales support, including coordinating alterations or client follow-ups.
• Ensure every client interaction upholds the brand's premium service standards.
• Assist with billing, packing, and daily store operations when required.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and ensure all display pieces are in perfect condition.

Qualifications + Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in styling, fashion retail, or visual merchandising (internships included).
• Strong understanding of current fashion trends, silhouettes, and fabrics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident in client interactions.
• Eye for detail, organisation, and presentation.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn from senior stylists and managers.
• Located in Pune and available for in-person work at Bhandarkar Road.
