Job Description: Motion Graphic Designer (2D)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented
2D Motion Graphic Designer
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the product, as well as the ability to create engaging and impactful motion graphics across various platforms. You will collaborate with our creative team to produce high-quality content that aligns with our brand's goals and effectively communicates product features. A background in advertising and experience with industry-standard software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create 2D motion graphics and animations for videos, advertisements, social media content, websites, and other promotional materials.
  • Develop storyboards, animatics, and design assets that communicate product features and brand messages in a visually engaging way.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand the product, its unique features, and the overall vision for each project.
  • Ensure designs reflect a deep understanding of the product, targeting the right audience and highlighting key selling points.
  • Edit and refine motion graphic designs based on feedback while ensuring high-quality output.
  • Work within established project timelines and deadlines, maintaining efficiency throughout the process.
  • Stay updated with current trends and new technologies in design, animation, and motion graphics.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, offering creative solutions to highlight products in fresh, compelling ways.
  • Ensure that all assets meet technical specifications and are optimized for different platforms (web, social media, etc.).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer or Animator, with a portfolio showcasing 2D animation and motion design work.
  • Proficiency in
    Adobe Creative Suite
    (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with AI tools (such as Adobe Sensei or other design automation software) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to grasp product features quickly and create visuals that reflect these in a creative and compelling manner.
  • Experience in
    advertising
    or marketing is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity, with an ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

  • A degree or certification in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in motion graphic design or a related field, ideally with a focus on advertising and product promotion.

Additional Requirements:

  • A keen observational ability to quickly understand product features, customer pain points, and how best to visually communicate this.
  • Strong ability to adapt to feedback and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for creative problem-solving.
