We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The Freight Broker will act as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, a solid understanding of the logistics industry, and a strong ability to build lasting business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with both shippers and carriers.

Coordinate and manage full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and other freight shipments.

Negotiate rates with carriers and secure transportation solutions for customer freight.

Manage shipment scheduling, dispatch, and tracking through to delivery.

Resolve transportation issues and delays proactively and professionally.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all transactions.

Use transportation management software (TMS) to manage bookings, rates, and load status.

Prospect new clients and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics/supply chain role.

Strong knowledge of freight market trends and transportation networks.

Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., McLeod, DAT, Truckstop, etc.)

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics/supply chain role.

Strong knowledge of freight market trends and transportation networks.

Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., McLeod, DAT, Truckstop, etc.)

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
