Division Overview:

Nomura International Wealth Management have more than 50 years of experience delivering value to our high net worth clients in Asia.  Our commitment to deliver bespoke solutions is paired with judicious planning, coupled with Asia insight to meet clients' wealth planning and investment goal objectives.

Nomura IWM have access to both global and regional investment opportunities across multiple asset classes - fixed income and equity securities, including currencies, interest rates and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products.  IWM will take advantage of Nomura's research-based advice, strong execution capabilities and bespoke solutions that leverage our global expertise in Global Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management and other affiliates.

IWM rolls up to Nomura's Wholesale division along with Global Markets (GM) and Investment Banking (IBD).

Business Overview:

The One Bank Solutions works as a bridge between Global Markets and other divisions, in this case the International Wealth Management Division. The team is principally involved managing the OBS deal pipeline centrally, with responsibility for follow ups and sr. mgmt reporting etc, have a product focus (financing/advisory), participate in client discussions and leading deal specific discussions up to monetization

Role & Responsibilities:

• Cross business collaboration: Work closely with Global Markets, Investment Banking and International Wealth Management teams to drive solutions for clients. Support joint venture and cross collaboration initiatives
• Deal pipeline management: Centrally track, manage and digitally optimize one bank deal pipeline for international Wealth Management
• Strategic reporting and presentation: Prepare high quality reports, business updates, integrated solution / deal specific pitch decks for senior management and global stakeholders
• Process Optimization and Special Projects: Contribute to streamlining deal execution and structuring process, pipeline management and initiatives to enhance one bank solutions teaming with other divisions.
• Conduct preliminary due diligence on originated transactions, analyze financials, assess risks and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate deal structuring.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements such as MNPI, conflict management, cross border guidelines etc. to support risk assessments related to one bank solutions.

Mind Set:

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in financial modeling, Python/VBA, PowerPoint presentations and data analysis with experience in using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Qlikview etc.
• Strong financial analysis, due diligence and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project coordination abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate and team with global stakeholders and manage multiple / competing priorities
