Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (APO) specializing in Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SCM APO, deep functional expertise in GATP, and exposure to ECC SD modules. This role will be responsible for working closely with business users and technical teams to deliver robust solutions, configure and support SAP APO GATP, and ensure seamless system integration and enhancements. Experience with Demand Planning and SAP BI/BW is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute SAP APO GATP solution design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all areas of rule-based GATP, including location and product substitution, product allocation, order scheduling, and backorder processing.
  • Configure and maintain product allocation technical objects, including APO BW PSA, DSO, Info Cube, Planning Area, and Planning Book.
  • Manage product allocation CVC, allocation assignment realignment, and relevant condition records.
  • Oversee process chain scheduling, APO security roles, temporary quantity assignment, data cleansing, and repair functions for GATP/product allocation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during regression testing phases and assure timely bug fixes.
  • Set up and optimize APO CIF to facilitate master data transfer between R/3 and APO; resolve CIF issues related to transaction data updates arising from backorder processing runs.
  • Collaborate with users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, including solution design, testing, and implementation.
  • Support and enhance SD functionalities relevant to sales order creation and changes.
  • Maintain knowledge of AMS processes and ensure the highest standards of support and communication with end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP SCM APO, with a minimum of 1 end-to-end GATP implementation.
  • Strong primary skills in GATP/ECC with ECC SD experience.
  • Secondary skillsets in Demand Planning and BI/BW preferred.
  • Working knowledge or exposure to APO PPDS is considered a plus.
  • Experience enhancing SD functionalities related to sales order processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in SAP APO and related integrations.
  • Deep understanding of AMS processes and commitment to high-quality user and application support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to APO PPDS.
  • Prior experience managing allocation object maintenance and GATP-specific enhancements.
