Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Manager - Electrical to oversee the operations and maintenance of electrical systems for our amusement park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, PLC programming, and power systems, as well as experience managing a team and coordinating with vendors. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC motors.
  • Program and troubleshoot complex PLC circuits.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various sensor types and wiring techniques.
  • Wire control circuits and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Assign and attend to breakdowns, and plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Manage the operations and maintenance of electrical systems for amusement rides and related equipment.
  • Oversee powerhouse operations and maintain equipment such as transformers, HT & LT panels, and diesel generators (DG).
  • Implement energy conservation strategies to optimize energy usage.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for design and documentation purposes.
  • Prepare critical spare parts lists and manage purchasing processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors for purchasing and project-related work.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of electrical technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an amusement park or similar

    environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, PLC programming, and sensor technologies.
  • Experience with power systems, including transformers, switchgear, and generators.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and on-call as needed.
