This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Security Analyst in India.

As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding digital assets, monitoring cybersecurity events, and responding to incidents with precision and speed. You will work within a highly collaborative and fast-paced security operations environment, analyzing logs, investigating threats, and recommending remediation actions. Your efforts will directly enhance the organization's security posture, helping protect sensitive data, systems, and users. You will work on rotational shifts in a 24/7 environment, ensuring robust monitoring and rapid incident response.

Accountabilities:

· Monitor and analyze security events and alerts, providing guidance on immediate remediation actions.

· Investigate intrusion attempts, correlate multiple data sources, and determine affected systems or data sets.

· Follow established procedures for detecting, classifying, and reporting security incidents.

· Analyze network and host-based logs (EDR, Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS, Sys Logs, etc.) to determine remediation actions.

· Independently contain, analyze, document, and eradicate malicious activity.

· Escalate relevant threat information to internal stakeholders as necessary.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 2–5 years of relevant SOC, incident response, or cyber forensics experience.

· Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) and decoding logs from firewalls, proxies, EDR, etc.

· Ability to perform L1 ticket analysis, correlate incidents, and understand network architectures.

· Familiarity with intrusion detection systems, web application architectures, Active Directory, and malware types.

· Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Preferred certifications: Security+ or equivalent.

· Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity, technology, and automation.
