Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure and relevant domain knowledge in healthcare, pharmacovigilance (PV), or CRO environments. This role combines responsibilities across cloud infrastructure, on-premises IT systems, and IT support to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Deploy and monitor Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Services, SQL, Storage, Functions, etc.
  • Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, networking, and systems)
  • Ensure cloud and on-prem compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GxP, HIPAA)
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
  • Oversee and maintain endpoint security, antivirus systems, and patch management
  • Manage biometric systems and access control (physical and IT-based)
  • Address IT-related issues and support requests from internal team members in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD workflows and automation
  • Optimize system performance and cloud costs
  • Document systems, policies, and procedures; support audits and compliance reviews

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud/IT Engineer
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with managing on-prem infrastructure (Windows/Linux, AD, networks)
  • Experience in IT support and resolving user-level technical issues
  • Knowledge of endpoint protection, antivirus solutions, and basic cybersecurity
  • Experience with biometric systems, access control, or surveillance integration
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, CRO, PV)
  • Azure certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), or hybrid cloud models
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Exposure to data privacy frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA)
