Role Description

This full-time, on-site Mammogram Technician role is based in Chennai. The technician will be responsible for performing mammographic imaging using high-quality and safe practices, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining imaging equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient care and comfort, obtaining accurate medical histories, accurately positioning patients for imaging, and collaborating with radiologists for image interpretation. Adherence to radiation safety standards and proper documentation of reports are also essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mammographic imaging, operating mammography equipment, and applying radiation safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of patient care, ability to communicate effectively, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards, procedures, and documentation practices within a clinical setting.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a medical team.
• Diploma or degree in Radiology Technology or a related field; relevant certifications in mammography are required.
• Experience working in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center is preferred.
