Production Incharge

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Incharge to oversee and manage daily production activities in our battery manufacturing facility. The role requires strong leadership, process knowledge, and problem-solving skills to ensure production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production operations to meet targets.

• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.

• Coordinate with SCM, Quality, and R&D teams for smooth workflow.

• Prepare and review production schedules, manpower allocation, and shift planning.

• Train and guide operators/technicians to ensure adherence to SOPs.

• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.

• Maintain production records, reports, and KPI dashboards.

• Ensure strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

• Support team in achieving cost reduction, process optimization, and productivity improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in production operations, preferably in battery / automotive / electronics manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.

• Hands-on experience with shop floor management, manpower handling, and shift supervision.

• Familiarity with ERP/Inventory systems for production tracking.

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in EV battery / lithium-ion manufacturing / energy storage systems.

• Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.

• Ability to lead a team under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
