We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in accounting and grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and reimbursements in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Respond to accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Zoho Books, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic financial regulations and compliance standards.
