Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Utility Shifting & Highway Lighting Works
Location: Mahua (Near Mehendipur Balaji) – Jaipur Road Project, Camp at Dausa, Rajasthan
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Company Overview:
We are a reputed infrastructure company executing large-scale road projects including flyovers, underpasses, and service roads. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to handle all electrical-related works such as utility shifting, highway/street lighting, and power supply systems along the project corridor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate utility shifting works (electrical poles, HT/LT lines, transformers, cables, etc.) in coordination with relevant government departments.
- Plan and execute highway/street lighting installations, including poles, luminaires, cables, junction boxes, and control panels.
- Prepare and review drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical submittals as per project specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with MoRTH, NHAI, and relevant electrical codes and safety norms.
- Liaise with local DISCOMs, utility agencies, and consultants for permissions, inspections, and energization approvals.
- Supervise electrical subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of works.
- Conduct routine testing and commissioning of lighting systems and electrical installations.
- Maintain proper documentation for materials, approvals, and work progress.
- Troubleshoot site electrical issues and ensure preventive maintenance of installed systems.
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electrical works related to road/highway projects, especially utility shifting and highway lighting.
- Familiar with MoRTH, IRC, and IE Rules, and utility coordination procedures.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, load management, and public utility relocation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic electrical design.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
