We're Hiring – Nesting Engineer (PEB Industry)

Location: Rohad, Bahadurgarh, Haryana

We are looking for a highly skilled Nesting Engineer to join our Production Planning & Control (PPC) team.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on expertise in CNC plasma nesting, who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment, and wants to be part of industrial-scale PEB projects across India.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced CNC plasma machines and automated fabrication systems, ensuring accuracy and premium-grade construction.

Role Overview – Nesting Engineer

As a Nesting Engineer, you will be directly responsible for creating optimized nesting layouts and cutting programs for CNC plasma machines, ensuring minimal wastage and maximum efficiency in steel cutting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate nesting plans and CNC cutting files for:
• Columns
• Rafters
• Purlins & Girts
• Bracings
• Mezzanine beams and joists
• Other structural PEB components
• Program CNC plasma machines using FastCAM and ProNest software.
• Optimize material layouts to reduce scrap and maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with PPC, Production, and Quality Control teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cutting lists for fabrication.
• Review and verify fabrication drawings before nesting to prevent production errors.
• Maintain records, version control, and traceability of nesting files.
• Troubleshoot machine and software-related issues during production.
• Continuously improve nesting processes for higher productivity and better quality.

Required Skills

• FastCAM and ProNest software proficiency (Mandatory).
• Experience with CNC plasma cutting machines.
• Strong knowledge of PEB components and steel fabrication standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading and interpreting structural drawings.
• Understanding of production planning and material optimization.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Education & Experience

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering fields.
• Experience:
• 2-9 years of relevant experience in nesting and CNC plasma cutting within PEB or heavy steel fabrication industry.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in FastCAM/ProNest will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20, ₹45,000.00 per month
