About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with mandatory experience upgrading Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on development expertise in Apex, LWC/Visualforce, JavaScript, and experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

This position involves designing scalable solutions, optimizing chat capabilities, and enhancing customer engagement within the Salesforce platform.

Must-Have Skills

Mandatory: Proven experience upgrading Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat

Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML

Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud & Service Cloud

Strong knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs

Minimum 2 years of Flow development experience

Minimum 5+ years of overall Salesforce development experience

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Experience with Omni-Channel and Omni-Flow

Experience with Live Agent Chat

Experience designing chat routing and service workflows

Experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations

Key Responsibilities

Chat Migration – Primary Responsibility

Lead and execute the migration from Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat across Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.

Design chat configurations, workflows, routing logic, and UI improvements to ensure a smooth transition.

Optimize performance, scalability, and user experience for chat operations.

Salesforce Development & Customization

Build scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs.

Develop features, custom integrations, and enhancements aligned with business needs.

Customize Sales Cloud & Service Cloud components including case management, chat configuration, and automation.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to clarify and define requirements.

Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and architectural reviews.

Provide training and support to end users to ensure smooth adoption.

Quality, Documentation & Support

Conduct unit testing, deployments, and maintain detailed documentation.

Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for production issues.

Ensure adherence to Salesforce coding best practices and conduct peer code reviews.

Improve customer response times and engagement through optimized chat and service solutions.

Implement high-quality Salesforce enhancements with strong documentation and compliance.

About You

5 years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript).

2+ years of experience building Flows.

Strong understanding of Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate assumptions, and deliver clean, maintainable code.

Strong collaboration and feedback culture.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce App Builder.
