About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with strong expertise in CMS platforms and web development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AEM architecture, Java technologies, and front-end frameworks, along with a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using AEM, Java, and related technologies.

Implement and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs to meet business needs.

Participate in SDLC phases: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Build reusable, scalable code using TDD methodologies and optimize performance.

Integrate third-party systems with AEM and build solutions on AEM Sites and Assets.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members; review code for quality and security.

Perform AEM upgrades, patches, and collaborate with Adobe Managed Services for compliance.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, liaising with AMS or third-party vendors as needed.

Ensure QA and validation of deliverables for high-quality output.

Apply performance tuning and optimization techniques to resolve bottlenecks.

Follow and contribute to best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

3+ years of hands-on experience in AEM development and Java technologies.

Strong knowledge of AEM architecture: CRX, OSGi, Sling.

Expertise in AEM building blocks: JCR, Sling framework, Apache Felix OSGi, DAM, Workflows, Touch UI.

Experience with Dispatcher configuration and AEM upgrades.

Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (React preferred).

Deep understanding of Java EE, Servlets, JSP, RESTful web services.

Experience integrating AEM with CRMs, marketing automation tools, e-commerce platforms.

Familiarity with search engines (Coveo experience is a plus).

Strong understanding of AEM Security model and SSO.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience with AEM Cloud, Adobe Admin, and Adobe Cloud Manager.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.

Integration experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target.

Familiarity with AWS, Multi-Site Manager (MSM), Translation Services.

Exposure to performance/stress testing tools.
