Job Summary

The BIESSE Rovergold CNC Designer/Operator is responsible for preparing CNC programs, setting up and operating BIESSE Rovergold CNC machining centers for the production of wooden, composite, or engineered components. The role requires strong CAD/CAM skills, machine operation expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to production quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities1. CNC Programming & Design

  • Create and modify CNC programs using BiesseWorks /IMOS
  • Interpret technical drawings, 2D/3D CAD files, and product specifications.
  • Prepare machining strategies including toolpaths, feed rates, and cutting parameters.
  • Optimize programs for efficiency, minimal waste, and maximum accuracy.
  • Import and prepare design files (DXF, DWG, etc.) for CNC processing.

2. Machine Setup & Operation

  • Set up the BIESSE Rovergold CNC machine including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
  • Perform daily calibration and machine checks.
  • Load materials (MDF, plywood, solid wood, acrylic, composite panels) and ensure correct alignment.
  • Execute machining jobs while monitoring tool wear, cutting accuracy, and surface finish.
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and parameters during runtime if needed.

3. Quality Control

  • Inspect finished components using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges).
  • Ensure all parts meet drawings, tolerances, and customer specifications.
  • Identify and correct machining errors or deviations.

4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Conduct routine machine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, tool changes.
  • Troubleshoot machine errors, alarms, and PLC/console issues.
  • Coordinate with service technicians when needed.

5. Documentation & Workflow

  • Maintain records of programs, production runs, tooling usage, and maintenance logs.
  • Follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure proper material usage and report shortages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
